- 8 oz (½ standard box) penne
- 16 pz (½ standard jar) red sauce of your choice
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 c mozzarella cheese
- oregano/basil/Italian seasonings of choice
- Make pasta.
- Brown meat. Drain and put into large bowl. [1]
- Add red sauce and pasta, stir to combine.
- Put in 8x8 Pyrex baking dish. Top with cheese. Be generous.
- Sprinkle with seasoning.
- Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

[1] I do this because I hate mixing stuff in the Pyrex (too easy to make a mess). Deirdre is a pro and does this all in one pan, and might just layer things instead of mixing (and maybe there's something to be said for that, since hers always tastes better than mine? but then, she's my mom, so...)
